Main / Media / News / Egypt’s Minister of Planning Is Following Up on The Executive Position of The Government’s MBA Program

21 September 2022

H.E. Dr.  Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, received Dr. Ali El-Meligy – Chairman of the Board of Trustees of ESLSCA University to discuss the executive position of the government MBA program implemented by the Ministry in cooperation with ESLSCA University.
El-Said explained that this meeting comes in light of strengthening the bonds of cooperation and partnership with ESLSCA University to develop the skills and capabilities of workers in the Egyptian government and to discuss ways to benefit from the program’s graduates in supporting the development process at the national level.
El-Said stressed that all means of support are provided to build capacities and develop skills of the Egyptian government employees and facilitate the organizational procedures for the workflow of the study in a way that does not impede the course of work and development.El-Said stressed that the graduates of the program from the previous batches are a human and scientific wealth that must be invested in developing the management and work of the state’s administrative apparatus.During the meeting, the university praised those accepted into the twelfth batch of the program, as 1,500 workers were nominated for the state’s administrative apparatus, and after conducting English language tests and meetings with applicants, the number of the batch reached 200. The university indicated that this number is the largest in the history of the program since the protocol was held in the year 2018, where the number, according to the protocol, was 150 for one payment, which confirms the keenness of those in charge of the program to develop the capabilities of all Egyptian government employees and maximize equal opportunities.
The meeting also discussed ways to develop prospects for cooperation and develop academic programs that include an accredited academic diploma that qualifies those wishing to apply for a master’s program and discuss the possibility of completing postgraduate programs such as doctorates and diplomas in government business administration.
It is noteworthy that the cooperation between the Egyptian government and ESLSCA University began in 2015, and was crowned after the issuance of the President’s decision in 2018 approving the protocol for the establishment of “ESLSCA University Egypt” signed by the Ministry of Higher Education and the Higher School of Applied Commercial Sciences (ESLSCA – France).
