Planning Ministry delegation visits Al-Gharbia Governorate to Follow up Implementation of Projects

The delegation of the Ministry of Planning
and Economic Development concerned with the Localities Development Project went
recently to the Gharbia Governorate to follow up on the project’s steps in the
governorate.
Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic
Development, Dr. Hala El-Said said that the Ministry is keen on the continuous
follow-up to all governorates regarding the process of developing localities
and providing the necessary training for workers to keep pace with the
development process and automating services.
El-Said continued that the ministry is
seeking through the project to achieve the state’s orientation towards digital
transformation and to automate services directed at all citizens to facilitate
the process of obtaining services for citizens, in addition to training workers
on mechanisms and methods of dealing with the mechanization process.
For his part, Major General Mohamed Ezzi,
General Supervisor of the Localities Development Project at the Ministry of
Planning and Economic Development, said that the visit witnessed a meeting with
Dr. Tariq Rahmi, Governor of Gharbia, and Dr. Ahmed Atta, Deputy Governor, to
present the governorate's performance indicators and how to control the
financial receipts index for external collectors.
Azi continued that another meeting was held
in the city of Qutour to follow up on the level of application training, which
is scheduled to be completed by the end of this month, and work will begin in
the General Bureau during the next month.
The delegation of the Ministry of Planning
and Economic Development was headed by Major General Mohamed Ezzi, the general
supervisor of the Localities Development Project, and Brigadier General
Engineer Ahmed Toaima, who is responsible for following up the work in the
governorate.
