Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, a decision to appoint Mr. Mohamed Farid Abdel Fattah as an assistant to the minister for national projects, and another to appoint Ms. Naglaa Al-Bayly as an assistant to the minister for asset management and investment for a year.

 

 

 

In this context, El-Said said that the decisions came within the framework of seeking the assistance of distinguished cadres who have effective and influential roles in the field of the Ministry's work.

 

 

 

El-Said noted the importance of relying on cadres who have sufficient experience to lead the work to raise the efficiency of performance and reach the level of work to the best degrees.

It is worth noting that Mohamed Farid graduated from the Faculty of Commerce, Benha University. The Accounting Division in 1983 and Farid have extensive experience working in the Ministry of Planning, spanning more than 31 years.

 

Naglaa El-Bayly's experience extends for more than 25 years in general government work in the field of strategies for implementing the Egyptian asset management program and encouraging investment, supervising the management of projects and executive programs, the provisions for monitoring compliance with the laws and governing procedures, and supervising the file of managing public funds shares in joint companies.

 

The Assistant Minister of Planning and Economic Development for National Projects is responsible for overseeing infrastructure sector affairs, productive activities and services, and participating in preparing project plans for the ministries of transport, electricity and energy, communications and information technology, water resources and irrigation, housing and the agencies affiliated with those ministries, managing their investments and following up their implementation.

 

 This is in addition to overseeing national project files and following up on their implementation, including the development and expansion of the subway network, the national road network, the rehabilitation and lining of canals, the development of informal areas, the national water bowl program, social housing, the new administrative capital, digital transformation, and the Upper Egypt development project.

 


The Assistant Minister of Planning is also responsible for managing assets and investment in coordinating and following up the databases of state assets to achieve the goals of good resource management and maximizing exploitation, in addition to coordinating with the various governorates and ministries to raise the efficiency of the system for counting untapped state assets, and to implement and follow up plans for disposing of state contributions proposed to be put forward in The stock market, as well as preparing the reports and correspondences required for the House of Representatives and supervisory authorities regarding the files it supervises
