NIGSD, USAID launch the first research journal specializing in governance issues The project will be launched in the presence of the Minister of Planning and Economic Development and in cooperation with the Economic Governance Project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)

The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD) - the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development training arm - announced the launch of the first research journal specializing in governance issues, entitled "Governance and Sustainable Development".
The magazine will be launched in a ceremony on Monday, in the presence of H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Ms. Leslie Reed, Director of the USAID Mission in Egypt, and Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Executive Director of NIGSD, in cooperation with the USAID-funded Economic Governance Project.
In its first issue, the journal deals with the new administrative capital and related governance and sustainable development issues. A group of researchers from Egypt, Germany, Japan, and the United States is publishing in the journal.
Eng. Khaled Abbas, Chairman and Managing Director of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development, Eng. Khaled Al-Attar, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology for Administrative Development and Digital Transformation, and several experts, thinkers, and media professionals will participate in the launch ceremony.
