Public Business Sector, Planning ministries discuss the position of promoting some investment opportunities in affiliated companies

Engineer Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Public Business Sector, received H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, to discuss strengthening cooperation in several files of common interest between the two ministries.
The two ministers held an extensive meeting attended by some leaders of the two ministries, which discussed areas and opportunities for cooperation between companies affiliated with the Ministry of Public Business Sector and The Sovereign Fund of Egypt (TSFE), and the position of promoting investment opportunities in several sectors affiliated with the Ministry of Public Enterprise Sector, including hotels and the aluminum industry.


They also discussed the existing cooperation between the Ministry of Public Business Sector and TSFE in the field of providing infrastructure for electric cars, and the procedures for establishing a company to establish and operate electric car charging stations in a partnership between the public and private sectors.

Both ministers also discussed the position of the tender offered among the companies qualified to manage charging stations and contribute to the capital of the company, which will establish 3,000 chargers as a first stage within 18 months in the governorates of Cairo, Giza, and Alexandria
 The meeting was attended by the Ministry of Planning: Counselor Mohamed Aba Zeid, Legal Adviser to the Minister, Mr. Ayman Soliman, Executive Director of TSFE, Amr El Hamy, Executive Director of the Egypt Sub-Fund for Tourism, Real Estate Investment, and Antiquities Development, and Mr. Mohamed El-Okby, Media Adviser to the Minister.




On the part of the Ministry of Public Business Sector: Mr. Mohamed Hassouna, Advisor to the Minister for Investment and Restructuring, Counselor Saeed Arafa, Legal Adviser to the Ministry, Ms. Rasha Omar, Assistant Minister for Projects Affairs, Ms. Dalia Tadros, Assistant Minister for Technical Affairs, and Ms. Amal Saleh, Advisor to the Minister for Corporate Affairs The joint venture, Eng. Adel Wali, Executive Managing Director of the Holding Company for Tourism and Hotels, Mr. Mohamed Dabees, Director of the Minister’s Office, and Mr. Abram Al-Lawandi, Advisor to the Minister for Media Affairs.
