The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development holds a workshop to present the results of indicators of equal opportunities for workers

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, represented by the Equal Opportunities Unit, convened; A workshop to present the results of the indicators of equal opportunities among the employees of the Ministry.
The workshop also discussed the employees' proposals to improve the work environment, within the framework of the serious steps taken by the Ministry to achieve equal opportunities.
For his part, Eng. Khaled Mustafa, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, stressed that equal opportunities extend from merely achieving a balance between the numbers of men and women in various job grades to the more general concept, which is related to the idea of achieving justice, which was the framework of that workshop.
Mostafa explained that achieving equal opportunities is one of the main goals included in the sustainable development goals, and an active component within the work axes of Egypt's Vision 2030, which aims to improve the quality of life and the advancement of citizens.
In the same context, Dr. Shaima Siraj, Director of the Equal Opportunities Unit at the Ministry, indicated that the workshop aimed to present the results of the outputs of the series of workshops that were completed last March, as well as to discuss proposals in support of equal opportunities, which came within the framework of three aspects.
Many workers from various sectors and units of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development participated in the workshop, as well as representatives of the Ministry's agencies, which included the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, the Institute of National Planning (INP), and the National Investment Bank.
