The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development receives the 2nd batch of the summer program for training university students in 2022

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development received the second batch of the summer program for training university students in its fifth edition 2022, which is held annually by the Ministry.
H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, reviewed, in a video of her, which was shown during the reception, the ministry's work tasks and the files and projects entrusted to it, as well as its affiliates.
She also talked about the state's investment plan and the national project for the development of the Egyptian family.
El-Said explained that working on the investment plan falls within the main efforts of the Ministry of Planning, which is being prepared in a participatory manner.
El-Said stressed the importance of the role of civil society and the private sector, and El-Said referred to the Rowad 2030 project as one of the projects carried out by the ministry to support youth and train them in entrepreneurship.
El-Said pointed to the Million Entrepreneur Initiative, which aims to train one million young people on entrepreneurship before 2030, as well as the Start Your Future campaign, referring to the role of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, the training arm of the Ministry, and the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics.
For his part, Tariq Abdel-Khaleq, Advisor to the Minister for Human Resources Affairs, explained the nature of the training, stressing the ministry's keenness to hold summer training for the fifth year in a row, believing in the capabilities of young people.
Abdel-Khaleq explained that the program began in 2018, and 49 students applied to it at that time, while the number of applicants increased during 2019 to 79 students, to be reduced in 2020 as a result of the repercussions of the Coronavirus, continuing that the number of applicants rose again in 2021, to reach 51 students, then in the current year, it increased to 67 students.
The Human Resources Unit team reviewed the internal structure of the ministry and its internal units, after which the students are distributed among the different units according to the nature of their studies.
