Egypt's Ministry of Planning and Economic Development issues the annual report on the achievements of government services and information infrastructure "June 2022"

H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, received the annual report on the achievements of the development of government services and information infrastructure "June 2022".
Dr. Hala El-Said said that developing the services provided to citizens and facilitating their access is one of the priorities that the state is keen on, and the government seeks to achieve it with all seriousness, stressing that the main objective of Egypt's Vision 2030 is to "raise the efficiency of the quality of life of the Egyptian citizen."
El-Said added that the fiscal year 2021-2022 witnessed the implementation of many projects in these areas, in addition to providing programs and applications to provide better, high-quality services to citizens and investors in less time, in a form and manner that suits them, and the required accuracy and efficiency.
For his part, Engineer Ashraf Abdel Hafeez, Assistant Minister of Planning for Digital Transformation, referred to the project to develop technology centers in neighborhoods and cities, where the number of developed centers until June 2022 reached (402) centers providing 289 services.
The annual report of the Ministry of Planning reviewed the project of developing technology centers in new urban cities, where 25 centers were developed, providing 144 services.
The number of mobile technology centers reached 157 centers until June 2022, providing 175 services related to the civil status sector, the traffic sector, the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department, the Localities Development Project, the Industrial Development Authority, and the Egyptian Medicines Authority.
The report referred to the Egypt Services Center in Aswan Governorate, and the services of the first phase of the center include Ministry of Interior services, Ministry of Justice services, Commercial Registry services, Industrial Development Authority services, non-cash banking technology services, and electronic payment and collection services.
The report sheds light on the spatial-information infrastructure project (National Center for Spatial Information Infrastructure NSDI), explaining that one of the results of enabling space imaging is providing satellite visuals with a daily spatial accuracy of 3 meters covering the Arab Republic of Egypt, with daily temporal accuracy and a spectral resolution of up to 8 spectra.
The report dealt with the analysis of spatial data, where applications (follow-up projects - follow-up to the initiative of a decent life - integrated base map) were launched, conducting analyzes of water spaces in cooperation with the National Center for Planning the Uses of State Lands.
