Egypt's Planning Ministry allocates EGP 1.9 billion during 22/2023 To Develop Sports and Youth Cities

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development issued a report on the objectives of the current fiscal year 22/2023 plan in the field of youth and sports services, as part of the celebration of International Youth Day, which is celebrated annually on August 12 of each year.
H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, said that the vision of the youth and sports sector crystallizes around promoting the concept of leadership and excellence in improving the quality of life of Egyptian youth and youth, and developing their lifestyle through the pillars of comprehensive youth and sports development, which leads to enhancing belonging and pride in the national identity and developing their skills and abilities.
She added that in agreement with the National Human Rights Strategy, the plan for the current fiscal year aims to direct public investments amounting to EGP 1.9 billion to enhance sports and youth services.
Regarding the programs and initiatives for the youth and sports sector with the plan 22/2023, El-Said indicated that the programs focus on preparing and updating the national strategy for sports and the Egyptian national strategy for youth and youth, deepening the political participation of youth, and encouraging youth collective and volunteer work.
The report of the Ministry of Planning reviewed the goals of youth and sports services in the 22/2023 plan, including the establishment and development of seven hundred five-a-side stadiums and a youth center.
The goals, according to the report, also include completing the development of seven youth cities in the governorates (Luxor, Aswan, New Valley, Red Sea, Alexandria, Suez, and North Sinai), with investments of EGP 100 million.
Moreover, the report referred to the participation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the "Decent Life" initiative, by targeting the establishment and development of 1,057 youth centers in twenty governorates.
