NIGSD, Egyptian State Lawsuits Authority sign cooperation agreement in the field of human capacity development

Counselor Mohamed Bakr, Head of the Egyptian State Lawsuits Authority, and Dr. Sherifa Sharif, Executive Director of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD), the training arm of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, signed a cooperation protocol in the field of building and developing human capacities, research fields, and scientific activities.
Following the signing of the protocol, Counselor / Mohamed Bakr, Head of the Egyptian State Lawsuits Authority, stressed the importance of cooperation between state institutions, especially with the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, to develop the knowledge and skills of the authority’s advisors as well as its administrative staff in all fields to upgrade the work system, qualify and enable all employees of the authority to manage resources Effectively and usefully to achieve Egypt's 2030 vision.
For her part, Dr. Sherifa Sherif stressed the importance of training and capacity building, which is one of the main pillars for the success of any institution, by organizing a scheme aimed at providing workers with skills and capabilities related to the nature of their work, which helps improve performance. Sherif stressed that the institute is keen to establish partnerships with relevant local and international institutions to expand its expertise and benefit from prestigious scientific institutions that have made great strides in the fields of training, capacity building, education, research, and consultancy.Sherif referred to the role played by the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development concerning empowering women at the level of Egypt and African countries.
Sherif drew attention to the training programs carried out by the Institute in this regard, including the Egyptian Women Leaders Program, which is carried out at the governorate level, and the "She is for a Digital Future" initiative, which aims to bridge the technology gap between the sexes, and is implemented by the Institute with Cisco International and UNDP.
Sherif explained that the cooperation protocol includes a range of areas and activities, including joint support for the sustainable human development process, through the design and implementation of activities and training courses, the organization of conferences, scientific seminars, and joint workshops, whether by providing research, studies, and reports or technical and administrative assistance in organizing them.
