Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence announces the start of the desk evaluation phase for candidacy applications to participate in the third cycle of 2022

The management of the Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence announced the start of the desk evaluation phase for the award in its twenty categories in its third edition 2022, with the participation of 161 evaluators, team leaders, and heads of quality assurance committees independent of government agencies.
In this context, Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, explained that the evaluation process is carried out in complete transparency following the evaluation criteria mentioned for each category of the award.
El-Said affirmed the Ministry's belief in the importance of disclosing all basic procedures and enhancing the level of accountability and governance for all award operations.
Eng. Khaled Mostafa, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and General Supervisor of the Egypt Award for Governmental Excellence, stressed that the integrity and governance of evaluation processes are the cornerstones of the award’s operations, which required selecting evaluators with outstanding competencies and expertise.
The management of the Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence had announced the conditions for applying to join the base of Egyptian residents accredited to the award by participating in specialized programs aimed at qualifying and raising the competencies and skills of residents in cooperation with strategic partners in the field of excellence.
It is noteworthy that the team of residents participating in the third cycle of the award represents a group of countries, namely Egypt, the UAE, and Jordan, and for the first time from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The evaluation work will continue for 55 days until the results are judged by an independent jury from the UAE, provided that field visits to the shortlisted list of the best 5 or 10 entities and individuals will start during August 2022.
