Egypt’s Ministry of Planning and Economic Development concludes a crisis management workshop in cooperation with (IDSC)

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development represented by Strategic Management, in cooperation with the the Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC), concluded: Training workshop in the field of crisis and disaster management and risk reduction.
It was held on 27-28 June, at the Ministry's general office.
About (50) participants from the leaders and project managers of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and its affiliates, namely the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMS), the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, the Demographic Center, and the National Investment Bank, benefited from that workshop.
Eng. Khaled Mustafa, a permanent undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and supervisor of strategic management, said; The training workshop stems from the ministry’s role in supporting the state’s administrative apparatus to root and implement strategic management.
Mustafa pointed to the implementation of several workshops and training programs to build and raise the capabilities of those in charge of strategic management at the level of the state's administrative apparatus.
Dr. Mohamed Hassan Felfel, Executive Director of the Crisis Management Sector, Disasters and Risk Reduction, participated in the implementation of the training workshop and the provision of scientific content at the Information and Decision Support Center.
The workshop reviewed the importance of proactively identifying risks and how to manage them and included a set of elements such as concepts of risk management, risk classification, risk assessment tools, and steps, in addition to practical and applied activities.
The workshop focused on the practical and practical aspects through the formation of work teams to enrich the discussions and maximize the benefit of the training.
