The Rowad 2030 Project of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development celebrated the graduation of the first and second batches of the Business Incubator Managers Development Program, in the presence of Dr. Ghada Khalil, director of the Rowad 2030 project, Dr. Ayman Ismail, the founding director of the American University incubator, and Wissam Al-Bayh, the regional director of Drosos Foundation.
This came within the framework of the activities of the "Third Annual Forum for Startups", launched by the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and the Rowad 2030 project today, Saturday, at the Greek Campus headquarters, under the patronage of Dr.
Dr. Ghada Khalil, director of the Rowad 2030 project, confirmed that the main objective of the program is to manage business incubators in Egypt following international standards and to provide the services that are provided in them worldwide.
Khalil emphasized that business incubators are of great importance, so one of the main pillars of the program is to rehabilitate and raise the efficiency of incubators' managers in how to manage them.
She added that the training program includes three basic units that include the most important tools and methods for designing business incubator models and programs to support and manage entrepreneurs, building the operational capacity of business incubators, and opportunities to unify joint efforts to create a strong impact in the field of entrepreneurship.
Khalil reported that Egypt is ranked number one in the Middle East in terms of investing in startups, and this means that incubators in Egypt are doing well.
Khalil explained that one of the main axes that Rowad 2030 is working on is the focus of business incubators and the provision of a group of experts and specialists at the highest level to help young people develop their start-up projects.
It is worth mentioning that the forum aims to spread and support the awareness-raising role of entrepreneurship in Egyptian society, in addition to supporting the role of the private sector in economic activity.
