NIGSD , EAPD holds a webinar entitled “Personality analysis to build a successful team” with the participation of representatives of 17 African countries

The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD) held the training arm of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development represented by the Training Network of Management Institutes in Africa “Tanmia” affiliated with the Institute in cooperation with the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development (EAPD), the development arm of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; The third webinar "Personality Analysis to Build a Successful Team" via Zoom application.
This is a continuation of the activities of the third edition of the African Women Leaders Program.Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Executive Director of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, said that the Egyptian government is keen to actively contribute to development efforts in the African continent, which is one of its priorities, explaining that empowering African women has become an integral part of the Egyptian government's agenda with the support of the political leadership.
Dr. Sherifa Sherif confirmed that the third edition of the African Women Leaders Program comes within the framework of the Ministry and the Institute's belief in the leadership role of women in the development of the African continent.Sherif added that the main objective of the webinar is to learn how to analyze different personalities to build successful and strong teams. The webinar also discussed the importance of diversifying personal styles to build an integrated work team, noting the participation of 17 African countries in the webinar in addition to Egypt.Sherif referred to the first and second webinars, which were previously presented by the Institute within the framework of the third edition of the African Women Leaders Program, where the first webinar was entitled "Gender Responsive Governance".
The second webinar dealt with accelerating the climate action plan through responsible citizenship and gender equality for African countries and was held in cooperation with the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development.
Dr. Hanan Rizk, Director of the African Training Center of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, said that the trainees showed great interest in the topic of the webinar, which helps in building their experiences on a practical and scientific basis to enable them to analyze their personalities and the personalities of co-workers, bosses, and subordinates by reviewing 16 different types of personalities.
The webinar contributed to clarifying simplified ways that enable them to select the job that matches their characteristics, as well as enable them to deal with co-workers successfully and build work teams capable of working together effectively.
17 African countries participated in the webinar: Algeria, Nigeria, South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Somalia, Uganda, Gabon, Malawi, Mauritius, Zimbabwe, Tanzania; Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Mauritania, Ghana, Chad, South Africa in addition to Egypt.
The participants were faculty members in African universities, members of non-governmental organizations, employees of government agencies (ministry), non-governmental organizations, academics, training bodies, alumni of the "Development Network" and alumni of the African Women Leaders Program for the past three years.
The webinar was moderated by Dr. Hanan Rizk, Director of the African Development Center and the Training Network for Management Institutes in Africa “Tanmia”, and Nour El-Zeini, General Manager of Corporate Communications at Suez Canal Bank participated as a speaker webinar.
