NIGSD launches the first African batch within the activities of the initiative (She for digital future)

The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD), the training arm of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, launched the first African batch within the activities of the (She for Digital Future) initiative in cooperation with Cisco.
Dr. Sherifa Sharif, Executive Director of NIGSD, referred to the importance of programs and training courses to build various digital capabilities.
The (She for Digital Future) initiative aims to bridge the digital gender gap in the field of technology and digital transformation.
The initiative is implemented by the African Development Center and a training network for African management institutes (Tanmia) at the Institute.
Dr. Hanan Rizk, Director of the African Development Center at NIGSD, confirmed that the initiative is for a digital future in its African version.
The initiative comes within the framework of NIGSD keenness to actively participate through various training programs in empowering African women in the era of digital transformation.
The first lectures of the initiative (She for Digital Future) targeted women from Kenya from the nursing sector, the police sector, administrators in schools and hotels, and the Ministry of Health, in addition to businesswomen and students of technical education.
