Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, discussed the foundations and directions of the plan for the fiscal year 2022/2023, and the priorities of the updated Egypt Vision 2030.
This came during her review of the main features of the plan at the meeting of the Planning and Budget Committee in the House of Representatives, headed by Dr. Fakhri El-Feki, Chairman of the Committee, and in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Planning and Economic Development Dr. From the leaders of the ministry.
El-Said indicated that the pillars of the plan for the fiscal year 2022/2023 include the general planning law, the local administration law, the partnership law with the private sector, as well as the directives and initiatives of the political leadership, the constitutional benefits, and the evaluation of the results of the medium-term plan (22/21 - 19/18).
This is in addition to Egypt's Vision 2030. The government's second phase of structural reforms, in addition to the localization of sustainable development goals, international and regional economic developments.
El-Said also touched on the priorities of the updated Egypt Vision 2030, which included the interdependence and integration of the dimensions of sustainable development "economic, social and environmental", as well as the localization of the 17 sustainable development goals, with a focus on urgent issues such as family development and climate change, as well as food security and financial inclusion.
On the directions of the plan for the fiscal year 2022/2023, El-Said explained that it is to improve the quality of life of citizens and build people by providing and ensuring the quality of education, health, drinking water, and sanitation services "triple treatment", as well as youth, sports, and cultural services.
