Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development heads to Washington to participate in the Ministerial Leadership Forum at Harvard University

H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, left Egypt on Monday for Washington to participate in the Ministerial Leadership Forum at Harvard University, which was held from April 24 to 27, 2022 in cooperation with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, and with the participation of ministers from different countries of the world.
The forum addresses a set of themes and topics on economic development, investing in human capital, reviewing the effective contributions of ministers, leadership practices and challenges, balancing current needs, long-term growth, and the development agenda. The forum will also discuss the fiscal strategy framework, resource mobilization, how to create an enabling investment environment, and leadership during the crisis.Moreover, the forum is an opportunity for participating ministers to review their roles and contributions to governments, and to discuss different ideas and visions aimed at balancing the financial needs and the urgent requirements of citizens and investing in economic recovery and future growth.
