Egypt’s planning minister participates in second Women in Government Forum in Dubai

H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said , Minister of Planning and Economic Development, participated in the inaugural session of the Women in Government Forum, which was held as part of the activities of the preliminary day of the World Government Summit 2022 (WGS2022) that will run from 29 to 30 March in Dubai.
The second edition of the Women in Government Forum brings together more than 100 women government officials and decision makers from countries in the region, the world, and international organizations.
The forum aims to highlight the importance of the role of women in government, raise their participation rates in all areas of government work, motivate governments to develop a generation of women government leaders around the world, and increase their participation in decision-making and in senior positions in government.
The forum will discuss a number of themes related to women's participation in the government sector, their success in managing and leading international organizations and bodies, and their role in the development of societies.
The Women in Government Forum includes a number of sessions.
H. E.Dr. Hala El-Said will participate in a session entitled "What is the role of women in promoting economic growth around the world?".
Moreover, she will participate in a session entitled "The Philosophy of Governmental Leadership... A Dialogue with Arab Women Ministers"
It is noteworthy that the World Government Summit is the largest annual global government gathering, serving as an international platform aimed at advancing the future of governments and enabling them to achieve excellence and leadership.
The World Government Summit brings together government leaders, intellectuals, policy makers and the private sector to discuss ways to develop the future of governments.
