The Rowad 2030 (entrepreneurs 2030) of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development participated in the consultative meeting organized by "Enroot Development" with the participation of the Centre of Arab Women for Training and Research (CAWTAR).This is within the framework of the project to empower women entrepreneurs in the Middle East and North Africa region towards equal access to business and trade markets; Which covers 6 countries: Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Lebanon, and Jordan.During her speech, Dr. Ghada Khalil, Director of the Rowad 2030 Project, reviewed the objectives and services provided by the project in the field of entrepreneurship.She pointed out that the project focuses on gender equality and takes into account the support of women in the field of entrepreneurship, stressing that the percentage of women's participation in the initiatives launched by the project is constantly increasing, and in some initiatives, it reaches 50%.Khalil explained that the project contributes to providing a range of services such as educational grants and a master's degree to study the field of entrepreneurship in a deeper and wider scope, and to support and establish business incubators for emerging companies, including women, that present new ideas in the labor market.Khalil emphasized that the project aims to establish a generation of female entrepreneurs, so Rowad 2030 launched the Start Your Future campaign in schools and universities, and the percentage of female trainers working in the campaign in various governorates is 40%.


 This is in addition to the “One Million Entrepreneurs campaign”, which is the largest campaign in Egypt and the Middle East in the field of entrepreneurship, the number of female participants exceeded 40%, in addition to the percentage of females joining the project’s business incubators, which exceeds 45%.The Director of the 2030 Pioneers Project explained that within the framework of the continuous support provided by the project to women, the 2030 Pioneers Program was recently launched at the World Youth Forum last January.Dr. Ghada Khalil continued that the program does not target women entrepreneurs only, but also includes entrepreneurs, explaining that the 2030 Pioneers provides advanced training in several areas, including business modeling, marketing, finance, legal aspects, business development, and others.On the sidelines of the participation, Dr. Ghada Khalil presented the project shield to Mrs. Faiza Bin Hadid, representing the Center for Arab Women for Training and Research "CAWTAR", due to their great efforts in supporting women, especially in the field of entrepreneurship.
