Planning Ministry delegation visits Qena to follow up on the executive position of the projects of the investment plan 21/2022

A delegation from the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and the National Investment Bank made a field visit to Qena Governorate to find out the executive position of the investment plan projects for the fiscal year 2021/2022 in the governorate.
During the visit, the delegation met with Major General Ashraf Al-Daoudi, Governor of Qena, Engineer Nabil Al-Tibi, Secretary-General of the governorate, and the officials in the governorate to discuss the position of the completed and ongoing projects in the current fiscal year's plan.
Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, stressed the importance of field follow-up and evaluation of investment plan projects in the governorates on the ground, which contributes to improving the governance process and spending efficiency, especially the government's investment spending.

El-Said pointed out that building the Egyptian person and improving the quality of life of the citizen is the primary goal behind all development efforts.
She adding that providing and empowering opportunities on an equal basis between the spectrum of society and all regions is a necessity.
"It is the effective way to enhance citizenship and achieve social cohesion," she said
 For her part, Dr. Heba Mughaib, supervisor of the regional planning sector at the ministry, pointed out the importance of such field tours, which come intending to follow up on the projects that have been achieved on the ground in the investment plan.
The visit included following up on projects of paving separate roads in the centers and cities of the governorate, developing the Nile Corniche in Qena Center, projects of automated slaughterhouses in the Qus, Qaft, and Naqada centers, a biogas production project from livestock waste, drainage stations, lifting and sloping networks for villages in different centers, and fire stations, in addition to a visit to bridge projects. 
The delegation of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development was headed by Dr. Heba Mughaib, Head of the Regional Planning Sector, Mohamed Rashad, Director General of the Sector, Ashraf Mahmoud, Senior Specialist in the Sector, and Mohamed Saad, Senior Specialist.
