The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development announces the (Citizen Investment Plan) for the Ismailia Governorate of 21/2022

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development has reviewed a report issued by the Features of the Investment Plan of Ismailia for 21/2022.
This came within the framework of continuing to be announced in all governorates of the Republic for the third consecutive year, intending to sensitize citizens on the directions and priorities of the sustainable development plan for the financial year (21/2022) and its role in achieving Egypt's 2030 vision.Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development said that the launch of the (Citizen Investment Plan) reflects the keenness of the country to involve citizens in efforts to develop and follow up the planning and follow-up systems, intending to achieve sustainable and comprehensive development. The plan contributes to the processing of developmental gaps between different provinces and settlement of sustainable development goals and to achieve the 17-goal target of global sustainable development "Partnerships to achieve goals."El-Said stressed that the citizen is the real axis of development, and therefore the need to enable him and provide data on programs and development projects that the state is implementing.El-Said added that all the development plans adopted by the State aimed at improving the quality of the lives of citizens, and that would not be achieved without active community participation, consistent with Egypt's 2030 vision. During the past period, the Ministry of Planning has taken several steps to promote transparency and accountability and confirmation of the importance of citizens in planning and follow-up. ".On an investment citizen's plan in Ismailia, she explained that the number of development projects in the province reaches 303 projects and that the value of public investments addressed to the Ismailia Governorate of 21/2022 was EGP 5.4 billion.Concerning the sectoral distribution of targeted public investments in Ismailia's Governorate in a plan in 21/2022, the report of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development (DEC) reported investments of EGP 2.3 billion for Suez Canal by 43.2%.
The health sector is EGP 1.1 billion by 19.5%. The investments in higher education and scientific research are EGP 656 million by 12.1%, especially the housing sector and the development of EGP 555.7 million by 10.2%. The local development sector is EGP 417.8 million by 7.7%, and other sectors of EGP 402 million investments by 7.3%.The most important development targets in the local development sector in Ismailia's plan in the 21/2022 plan are to pave domestic ways of about EGP 177.5 million , as well as directing EGP 55 million to strengthen electricity networks in the province.The number of development projects in this sector is 157 projects. In the housing sector and the development of slums, the most important development targets are for EGP 377.6 million for drinking water and sanitation services, as well as EGP 100 million to develop indiscriminate markets and areas in conservation. The number of development projects in this sector is 59 projects, while in the higher education and scientific research sector, it is targeted to implement 16 projects and is the most important development target in the Gaza Strip.
