Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence concludes the training activities for ambassadors of excellence at the National Post Authority

The Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence concluded the training activities for ambassadors of excellence for the internal awards project for 917 automated post offices at the level of the Republic; this is in preparation for announcing the opening of nominations for the Internal Excellence Award in those offices.
Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, said that the training aims to spread and strengthen the culture of excellence and work to build the capabilities and qualification of ambassadors of excellence to understand the requirements, standards, and mechanisms for evaluating the distinguished government unit in providing services.
El-Said emphasized that the implementation of the internal awards system in government agencies stems from the keenness of the management of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence to implement the objectives of Egypt’s Vision 2030, to support the state’s efforts to spread and deepen the culture of excellence and institutional development in the various sectors of the state.
For his part, Eng. Khaled Mostafa, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and General Supervisor of the Egypt Award for Governmental Excellence, stressed the keenness of the award administration to provide the necessary technical support to the authorities to complete the main project stages.
He explained that it comes after the end of the training; The stage of opening the door for candidacy for internal prizes for one month, then the evaluation process begins, leading to arbitration and approving the results of the best 80 mechanized offices at the level of the Republic qualified to be nominated to compete for the Egypt Award for Government Excellence.Mustafa pointed out that the number of trainees at the post offices reached 1,675, and the number of 37 training courses, and the number of training days reached 74, including 450 training hours, distributed among 6 training stations at the level of the Republic: Cairo, Menoufia, Ismailia, Qena, Assiut, and Alexandria.
