01 March 2022

Mr. Mohamed Farid, Assistant Minister of Planning and Economic Development for National Projects, met recently with the work team in the National Projects Sector inside the Ministry’s building in the Administrative Capital; to discuss and see how work is progressing in the new headquarters, and to accommodate sector employees in their new offices.

During the meeting, Mohamed Farid stressed that moving to the administrative capital is an important step within the framework of the Egyptian state's transformation towards digital transformation, as a business there will be fully mechanized.
The move also comes in light of the work to develop and modernize the work and follow-up system in the ministry.
Farid pointed out that the Administrative Capital is a national project with international technological standards, as it is a new economic administrative city that expresses Egypt's launch into the future as one of the most important smart cities in the Middle East.

The new capital also contributes to easing Cairo's congestion, which restores its luster and splendor.
Farid stressed that the move is not only spatial, but it is a qualitative leap in the administrative performance of the various sectors of the state.

The Assistant Minister of Planning for National Projects stressed that the employees moving to the administrative capital were carefully selected, through the weight of their qualification and training to work using modern technology.
Mr. Mohamed Farid explained that the building is characterized by good planning and coordination between the different departments. He further noted that the building work is based on the unity of functional thought within the ministry so that each sector includes all levels contiguous with each other.

This helps the employee to be comfortable while working in a modern technological environment.
