Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence representatives, Universities’ Supreme Council visit Mansoura University to follow up on the final arbitration process

The work team of the Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence, headed by Eng. Khaled Mostafa, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and General Supervisor of the Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence, and Dr. Dalia Sami, Assistant Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities, paid an official visit to Mansoura University, to follow up on the final arbitration process for the awards University interior. Where 18 colleges submitted awards for institutional and individual excellence.The visit witnessed a meeting with Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset, President of Mansoura University, and Prof. Mahmoud Mohamed El Meligy, Vice President of Mansoura University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
Dr. Hala El-Said , Minister of Planning and Economic Development, said that the implementation of the internal awards system in government agencies in the state's administrative apparatus.This stems from the keenness of the management of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence to implement the objectives of Egypt's Vision 2030 and to support the state's efforts to spread and deepen the culture of excellence and institutional development in the various sectors of the state. This is to improve the quality of life of the citizen and enhance the leadership and competitiveness of the Egyptian state. The launch of the system came in the implementation of the directives of the Prime Minister regarding the importance of starting the implementation of the internal awards system in the state’s administrative apparatus.Eng. Khaled Mustafa stressed the importance of the role of universities in the development and development of society, not only for their prominent and pioneering role in the field of education and scientific research but as a platform for knowledge and ideas.
For his part, Prof. Ashraf Abdel Basset, President of the University, expressed his appreciation for the cooperation relationship between the university and the Egypt Award for Governmental Excellence, praising the efforts made by the award throughout the previous period, stressing the importance of deepening the culture of excellence, which was reflected in the university’s performance to activate the university’s internal excellence system. Dr. Dalia Sami, Assistant Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities, said that within the framework of the important visit to the university, the Council seeks to provide full support and overcome obstacles to spread and implement the system of excellence within public universities.During the meeting, Eng. Khaled Mostafa received the university's golden jubilee shield for the 50th anniversary of its establishment as a distinguished national Egyptian educational institution.
