Sharek 2030” is the first interactive electronic application launched by the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, aiming at spreading awareness among citizens pertaining to the implemented developmental initiatives; in addition to prioritizing the proposed initiatives and projects in a way that enhances citizens’ contribution in monitoring process.

The Objectives of the application:

Accomplishing an advanced degree of transparency regarding the dissemination of information related to development programs, mega projects and performance indicators.

Providing concrete community awareness regarding the country’s portfolio of developmental achievements on regular basis.

Facilitating the process of participatory planning, which provides the opportunity of community participation and the involvement of the citizens in monitoring system.

Disseminating the culture of performance among citizens and public entities.

Interacting with the citizens by responding to their comments and considering their suggestions.

Monitoring the performance indicators of the development programs.

Following up the recent news and activities of the MOPED.

Monitoring the implementation process of the most important initiatives (Decent Life Initiative)

Tracking the project’s implementation.

Presenting the ‘’Citizen’s Plan’’ documents for all governorates.

As a part of its crucial role in promoting community participation, and spreading awareness regarding developmental plans and programs among citizens, the application has been registered in the SDGs acceleration actions platform affiliated to the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA)
