Egypt Government Excellence Award

In recognition of the Egyptian government’s role in advancing the reform agenda and promoting quality and excellence in the performance of work and services across the state administrative apparatus—an approach adopted by the state to advance the nation— and in line with the directives of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El‑Sisi, the Egypt Government Excellence Award was launched in 2018 to support the achievement of Egypt Vision 2030. The strategy aims to build an efficient and effective administrative system that adopts principles of good governance, contributes to sustainable development, and responds to the aspirations and needs of citizens.

The award comes within the framework of enhancing the overall performance of government institutions and positioning Egypt among leading nations. It does so by establishing a national government excellence award that promotes constructive, positive, and effective competition among government entities and individuals, thereby embedding the principles and values of excellence across all sectors of the state. Society ultimately benefits through more advanced government services, improved quality of life for citizens, stronger international competitiveness, and the development of distinguished Egyptian talents capable of advancing and enhancing the efficiency of the state administrative system.

The award encompasses several categories that cover various areas of government work, including institutional categories that recognize outstanding government entities for excellence in organizational performance and service development, as well as individual categories that honor distinguished leaders, employees, and talents within the state administrative apparatus.
