Conceptual Manual for a gender-responsive sustainable development plan

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development has issued “Manual for Gender-Responsive Sustainable Development Plan “in co-operation with Macro-Economic Stabilization and Reform Project (MESR) funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development, with the participation of concerned governmental agencies.

This manual which considered the first in its type focus on setting an integrated, applicable framework to integrate social groups (women – children – persons with disabilities) into the development plans and programs, through identifying the needs of these groups, and monitoring development gaps between these groups, and thus directing public spending to meet this gaps, consistent with Egypt Vision 2030, and the United Nations sustainable development goals.
