WOMEN

The Ministry of Local Development, the headquarters of all governorates

• Enhancing women's participation in decision-making mechanisms in local administration units.
• Strengthening the capabilities of equal opportunities units at the level of the offices of all governorates up to the level of districts and villages.
• Linking digital and technological literacy programs in the governorates to economic empowerment and adopting the (productive family) initiative to ensure the employment of men, women and youth within the same family

• Percentage of women in local councils
• Percentage of women members of the executive councils in the governorates

CHILDREN

- Establishing mechanisms for the participation of children (over 12 years old) to express their needs in local communities

- The percentage of children’ s participation in local council hearings

PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

- Develop mechanisms for the participation of persons with disabilities to express their needs in local communities

• The rate of participation of persons with disabilities in local councils and local administration units (from the governorate to the district, city and village).
• Number of service offices for citizens with disabilities in the governorates.
